At the time, even several decades later, people would have noted that there was no single war. ===== The period between 1914-1945 was a disaster for all humans on this planet. In August 1914, civilised Europeans foolishly commit suicide. ............... many believe the so-called, 'Thirty Years War' was a time when Catholics discovered that their greatest enemy weren't atheists. ........... supposedly, Napoleon began every military strategy debate by bragging about the size of his hands. But being heavily influenced by American culture, and that country being isolationist at the time, it's easy to think that. The war in Europe and N Africa was a sideshow for them, as was Japan vs China. Pearl Harbour and Hitler's declaration of war vs USA were their trigger points. No choice after that no matter how isolationist anyone was. The Coomonwealth wasn't even at war with Japan before then, the vichy French already surrender monkeyed IndoChina and Russia didn't even join until the final day. So if you want to stirctly go by all of Europe* did not constitute the 'World' you could be correct, semantically. *plus the commonwealth nations elsewhere Edited March 29 by herbie Quote
