How to avoid being conquered by the Americans

1) setup joint millitary naval bases along the artic coastline, northern atlantic and pacific. Let orange man build Golden Dome where needed etc. This would ensure American security interest and remove the necessity of invading Canada. These bases would need to be manned jointly with Canadians as well as part of Canadian Military training. 

Alternatively, this is how you get conquered.
