Harpo Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 I ran into an excerpt of a radio show by sole independent MP Andre Arthur from Quebec... what do you think of your money going to pay that guy's salary? It’s funny that Americans like English-canadians more than English-canadians like Americans.Americans consider English-Canadians as funny Americans from the North, a little more socialist, and English-Canadians hate Americans. They are envious, because sometimes they can’t, ..., and they are jealous, English-Canadians are dying of jealousy of the United States because what defines an English Canadian is that he’s an American loser, an American that shat in his pants. I lived in Quebec city for just over a year and that quote is just the tip of the iceberg. That guy has wet dreams about living in a fascist state where of course he'd be in charge. The crap he says is absolutely incredible but then again, he's a political shock jock. Quote
August1991 Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 André Arthur is a talk-radio, loose cannon. Here's one link on this forum. Quote
Bakunin Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 He's an agitator, a bit like a Political Don Cherry. Thats the bad thing about Quebec right wings movement, they have lots of valid points but their main political image is built around a bunch of agitator mastering the art of exaggeration. Quote

I have respect for people like that. I may not agree with their POV, but someone that has the courage to say what they think needs to be said, when it needs to be said and without sugar coating it deserves some credit. Political Correctness is BS and incorrectly named. It should be called liberal-speak. Quote "If in passing, you never encounter anything that offends you, you are not living in a free society." - Rt.
