It's about time. Everyone knew she lied. She went on to murder her boyfriend, and is now in prison.

The bigger question is why did Duke University petition to have the boys expelled, even though they had done nothing wrong? Why did Jesse Jackson go on TV a day after all charges were dropped once the truth came out, and state "yes, but the boys were guilty of behaving badly (they had hired strippers for a party)."

Why was prosecutor Mike Nifong, who withheld crucial evidence regarding DNA, not given a lengthy jail sentence? Nifong lost his  law license, and it came out that this was not the first time he withheld DNA evidence. Regardless, the boys sued Nifong and Duke University, and the City of Durham settled for an unknown amount.
