Doug ford has limited control over how many people can come into the province from the federal immigration program But to the extent he has any say in it, his public statements so far amount to "More! Bring in more! More foreign students! More foreign workers! More immigrants! MORE! As many as you can find! Come on, Justin! Send me more! I'll take em all!!" Doug Ford's Pretend Conservatives have done nothing in office but continue the fiscal and social policies of Kathleen Wynne's Liberals. Quote

Well I don't know if I would go quite that far, but you're certainly not entirely wrong either. He started off fine but then obviously realized it's going to be hard to be reelected as a moderate right-wing government and he moved closer towards the liberals in a number of issues. He's definitely running as a more of a red tory than anything at the moment. I mean at least he hasn't hired a former pedophile to set the children's sex education curriculum so that's an improvement But for sure he is definitely been more to the left than what most of us would consider conservative. But even then, he's about to win another major victory and it's kind of hard to tell him that what he's doing is bad but he keeps getting returned to office with strong majorities. And that boils down to the voter. If they supported his right of center stuff then he would do more right of center stuff Quote
