Leafless Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Well now that Paul Martin is almost history, how will he be remembered. My favourite is contrary to what Mr. Martin and the Liberals used to say the Liberals NEVER DID establish national daycare. That was a great ploy Mr. Martin and an effort that probably helped considerably to get you elected as PM. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...?hub=TopStories Quote

August1991 Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Paul Who?????????Paul Martin was PM for just over 2 years.I have made a point of visiting the gravestones of Canadian PMs so I know the names of even obscure ones. John Thompson (PM for exactly two years) is buried in Halifax and John Abbott (PM for about a year and a half) is buried in Montreal. I would be extremely surprised if one Canadian in a thousand could say anything about either man. Sic transit gloria mundi. Quote
