The people of Iceland, some 300,000 people -still today - have survived for over 1000 years. Newfoundlanders? On a desert island. Some 600,000 or so for over 500 years. Both Icelanders and Newfoundlanders are open, good people. August1991 Posted August 17, 2024 Author Report Posted August 17, 2024 I was surprised to learn that the Korean script is only 600 years old. It dates from 1446 CE. Cyrillic script dates from about 1100 CE. Sustainable? The Bulgarian language still exists. Quote
