CdnFox Posted April 4, 2024 Report Posted April 4, 2024 Matthew Beasley, a Vancouver-based counsellor specializing in addiction recovery, tells a familiar tale. More and more young people are using drugs – but there’s a difference this time. Now, the provider is often the government’s “safer supply” programs, which are rapidly making their way across the country. According to Beasley, many younger patients developed their addictions after accessing safer supply opioids. These teenagers did not purchase their opioids directly from safer supply patients, and instead relied on drug dealers who, lurking around high schools, would emphasize the origin of the drugs. Beasley’s report corroborates those of many others working on the frontlines of Canada’s overdose crisis, including a letter from 72 doctors criticizing Canada safer supply programs published earlier this month. For those leftie lunatics who STILL demand this was a good idea - now we have MORE addicts than we did before. And the drug dealers are RICHER because they didn't even have to smuggle the drugs in - we gave them to them for FREE. More proof that these nutbar social experiments not only cost a fortune but cause far more problems than they solve. Oh but they were SO sure safe supply would work. Now it's a question of how many new lives they've ruined. How many of those kids will take the illegal drugs now and wind up dead of overdose. Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."
