WestCanMan Posted December 21, 2023 Report Posted December 21, 2023 In a rare showing of intelligence and balls, Trudeau actually said something worthwhile for once, and I'm going to share it here: Quote OTTAWA — The Liberals are stressing that Hamas needs to surrender to Israel, after the militant group praised Ottawa for calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Quote Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the group can no longer have a role in governing Gaza or in creating a Palestinian state living in peace alongside Israel. I don't think that his comments really tell the full story there, but it's impossible for anyone on either side to mount a meaningful counter-argument against what he said, and if the leader of your country is going to babble on the international stage, that's how you'd want them to do it. I am a bit concerned that his stance makes room for the farcical belief that there are a lot of Palestinians who are reasonable enough to make lasting peace with Israel, and especially worried that he might think some of them are decent candidates for re-settling here, but I'm still conceding the fact that Trudeau gets to do a well-deserved victory lap IMO. 1 Quote If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed. Bug-juice is the new Kool-aid. Ex-Canadian since April 2025
