Hicksey Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I like that message in your signature line there Hicksey, it really is sad when the Liberals have to insist in their ads they aren't lying. As well, none of these ads actually say anything. They all have the "We just don't know." line. How ridiculous of an attack is that? I don't know what your up to, so your evil? We all know what can be said about those that assume .Maybe the Liberals should read up on some CPC policy and the hundreds of announcements made this campaign. Then maybe they'd know. He has said. These attacks might have worked, if Harper hadn't come out with a very straight-forward set of policy announcements. It's too late to discredit him now. I'd like to agree, but until we see the next couple of poll numbers we can't be sure. Those "OOooOO Scary Harper and his HIDDEN AGENDAS" ads could still take hold though it seems they're looked at in the media as a joke so far. BubberMiley Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Perhaps if Harper didn't flip-flop on the issues by going from president of the NCC to saying he won't get rid of *any* social programs, he would seem more credible and not someone who would say anything to get elected. The hidden agenda tag sticks because his platform does not resemble in any way his positions prior to 2004. BubberMiley Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 True, but people aren't scared that Martin would go too far to the right. They saw what he did in the early 90s, and that seemed to them just moderate enough. People aren't scared of Martin. They're just either mad about the scandals or finding his campaigning skills rather incompetent. They're not as scared of Harper as they are of the corruption continuing. Quote "If in passing, you never encounter anything that offends you, you are not living in a free society." - Rt. Hon. They stole federal funds from Canadian taxpayers in a elaborate multi million dollar kickback scheme. They count on Toronto cronies to stay in power and keep the scams going. They exaggerate and outright lie to Canadians about their opponents to scare voters away from alternatives. They rely on the left wing Toronto star and CBC to prop up their distortions of the truth. In many ways the indoctrination of Ontarians resembles methods of dictatorship. In cities. Across Canada. We did not make this up. Quote

Personally I've never seen so many people indoctrinated to one end of the spectrum as I've seen in Alberta. They're the only province in this country to have the same party in power for, like, 40 years, and no sign of ever changing (and yet, these are the same people who feel it's outrageous that the Liberals have been in power for 12 years).
