What if you don't know the word someone uses in standup?

Recommended Posts

Well it's not my problem personally. I'm just asking if Woody Allen watched the Richard Pryor special on CNN and when they asked Chris Rock about him he said he was "gangster". Now would woody keep watching it and think to himself "hmmm why did he use that word, and what does it mean?" Woody might have a negative connotation to it. Thoughts?
