The Dems and the MSM in the states went wild and here at RePolitics there were 3 threads started about it. Santos got no quarter from Fox News, where he was savaged by Tulsi Gabbard and others. By contrast, Joe Biden 's whole career has been nothing but lies. He plagiarized his way through law school, and then plagiarized a British Politician and used his story about growing up in a family of coal miners. Biden also told another group that he actually was a coal miner at one point: "hard coal - anthracite." He has claimed that he was a full professor for 4 years, false, claimed to have degrees that he didn't have, pretended that he graduated in the top half of his class but he was 76th out of 85, said that he was a civil rights activist in the early days - never was for even one second, pretended to be arrested on his way to visit Mandela - never happened, he said in multiple TV interviews that he wasn't aware of Hunter's overseas ventures until a picture of him and his son golfing with Devon Archer emerged, he said that Hunter's laptop story was "Russian disinformation", etc. Santos has nothing on lyin' Joe, but the people who adored lyin' Joe's campaign fabrications think that Santos should resign. Joe didn't stop lying after he was elected. He pretended for two weeks that the drone strike in Afghanistan hit ISIS-K terrorists when it just killed some kids and an aid worker. Then he famously shrieked "I won't strand Americans in Afghanistan!", then proceeded to strand hundreds of Americans in Afghanistan, then said "I never stranded any Americans in Afghanistan." Biden's lies are enormous, and reek of death and betrayal. Santos's lies are like Biden-lite.
