Argus Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 I have to express some wonder at all these newcomers who are so enthusiastic about posting so many posts on their first and second days here. All of them highly one-sided on behalf of this party or that. It's almost like they have less interest in political discussion than in politcal propaganda on behalf of their party. I don't know if this includes me either. But from what I have read here people are just expressing their oppinions as are you and I. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4247 Isnt this propaganda for people not to vote Liberal and how you hate them? plusgood Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 The one I caught was a bit comical. But I think it's completely reasonable. It's an election and a good time for people to take an interest. It's like when winter comes around, it's a good time to take up skiing. I think people very often enter political debates strongly opinionated or passionate about one side or whatever only to realise the picture is that much broader. So all the power to them, even they are party-propagandists. I'd encourage them to stick around and see responses from people on this board though. A lot of interesting opinions, I know my mind has been changed a couple times and I'm fairly new here. Posting-wise anyway. Quote
