LIberal used to mean that, back in the days of Ludwig Von Mises, Ayn Rand, Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman, laissez faire free market capitalism.

Rand herself used to chide the "conservative" element as those who were too resistant to change. At one time, conservative used to mean addicted to the past.

The term liberal completely changed after the Port Huron Statement (which I think you may have read about.) All of a sudden, liberal meant MARXIST, anti Capitalist, anti America, Anti Military, Anti free Speech. And it has only deteriorated into worse and worse forms over the years. It is now racist, totalitarian and totally ANTI free speech for those who disagree. It is pro crime, pro war, and pro mental illness.

The current concept of Conservative (which most of America is) was shaped by superior minds like William F. Buckley, Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, Robert Bork etc. Today, conservative combines the best aspects of eighties/early nineties libertarianism (free markets, smaller government, liberty) with the rule of law, secure borders, and a strong military to protect our safety.

(Yes, the 1980s-90s Libertarians wanted to bring home and dismantle all our overseas military and embassies and replace them with fax machines. I read the party material back then and that's exactly what they suggested.)

The fake news TV networks HATED Reagan worse than a Democrat hates a job application. They STILL hate his memory even today. They still LIE about what he did.

So, as usual, speaking to their worshiping viewer base, Fox News was able to go from “The facts are that Democrats are protecting Sam and will never arrest him” to “The Facts are Democrats are only arresting Sam to keep him from talking….” “And this time we mean it….” At Fox News, “facts” disappear faster than an Ethiopian chicken.

Of course, the Fox Bull Horn failed to cover the “news” that old Sam contributed about as much to Republican PACS and down dark money Republican rat holes as he gave to Democrats. But you will have to actually go to a real new source to get “Fair and Balanced” coverage without an Echo. (evil Democrats) Echo. (evil democrats) Echo. Ditto.

Ethiopian chicken? Can't imagine there being much meat on one of those creatures, not if the humans there are scrounging around for any kind of sustenance in sight.

CNN, PMSNBC are both corporations. They are about as fair and balanced as THE VIEW.

I learned this in real estate school. A corporation is a (and I quote) "an artificial person created by the Secretary Of State." Exact words. Nope, I don't understand that part either, but it's the Florida secretary of state.

You file for incorporation, for being an LLC, a Chapter S Corporation, or a limited/general partnership. And last time I checked, there were no ideology requirements for filing for those entities.

Rush Limbaugh was perhaps the earliest pioneer of the idea of upending the left wing monopoly on public opinion, by putting together the most successful radio talk show in history. He expanded to hundreds of markets nationwide. Of course, he never pretended to be anything other than mainstream conservative, like most of America.

It's all free market competition in action. And the public wins out in the long run, especially when most of the public is better informed. Fox is better at informing the public than any other source.

A couple of things:

1. Nixon died in 1994. FoxNews was created in 1996. You effing CHILDREN are too stupid to recognize a LIE in a bullschit rag like The Week. HAD PRESIDENT NIXON VOICED ANY OPINIONS WHATSOEVER ABOUT WANTING A NETWORK OF HIS OWN FROM 1969 TO 1974, EVERY LEFT WING MONOPOLY RAG  AT THAT TIME WOULD HAVE REPORTED IT 24/7. Most of you children have parents who weren't born until AFTER that time, so there's no way you would know this. Nixon was a gold mine for news ratings. Mention his name and everybody tuned in.

2. Nixon was one of the most LIBERAL presidents of all time. He had a left wing legislative record that Obama, KKKlinton, hell even Bernie Sanders would masturbate over. The LAST thing he would want would be a conservative network. Hell, he appointed Justice Blackmun to the bench, creating ROE, and giving FemiNAZIS decades of euphoria over legalized baby killings.

3. Conservatism such as what exists today, (and what most of America believes) DID NOT EVEN EXIST in the early Seventies. It was fostered and refined by Ronald Reagan, William F. Buckley and Rush LImbaugh, mostly in the 80s.

4. And another detail you low information cretins apparently missed, by spending so much time on crystal meth. THE NEVER TRUMPER MOVEMENT ORIGINATED AT FOX NEWS. In fact, most of Fox's polls are skewed to favor Democrats.

FoxNews enjoys the highest ratings in the world because more people tune it in, than the goose stepping left wing fake news rags like CNN, PMS, ABC, NBC. Fox is kicking their communist asses in ratings, not for any reason other than Fox offers BALANCED reporting, giving free time to both sides of the aisle.

Giving fair coverage is something you Nazis are physically allergic to.
