crazymf
It has come to the attention of the editorial staff of eco-logic Powerhouse on-line that the article, This war is real, was not written by Major General Chong. According to information provided by an astute reader, Melissa Huante, who contacted the Air Force News Agency, Major General Chong had found the article and forwarded it to a colleague. However, as the article circulated, he was given credit as the author. When contacted by the Air Force News Agency, he revealed that he did not remember the true author. However, it's interesting reading and makes sense if you aren't already dead set against Bush, the USA and their efforts. http://www.eco.freedom.org/el/20051001/chong.shtml
theloniusfleabag
Dear crazymf, Not much is new here, and btw, Chong is a surgeon. Mind you, the article is basically 'anonymous', as it is claimed that Chong simply 'passed it on'. http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_...ual/ai_n8569550 Some of it is very good and pertinent, some of it is the same old propaganda, not based on any truth, just meant to scare. For example, 2. Why were we attacked? Envy of our position, our success, and our freedoms Rubbish. Parroting this nonsense will not help anyone.Again, the answer is simple. We can lose the war by "imploding." That is, defeating ourselves, by refusing to recognize the enemy and their purpose,This part is very true. crazymf
Yeah, the article is merely someones point of view, not fact. However, it leaves me with the ponderance of whether extreme muslims will forever be merely a gnat to be swatted every now and then, or turn into a genuine world struggle between ideologies.
