Johnny Posted March 14, 2021 Report Posted March 14, 2021 I have read the CBC article on this decision and find that she (Justice Davies) has opened the books on lying, slander, false statements, and destroying all credibility to elections for the foreseeable future. Who in their right mind would think that it is okay to lie, and make any false statement you like in an election? and by anyone that reads or uses public media. Just my opinion. Quote

Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty was sued for breaking his word not to raise taxes, making it a centerpiece of his platform, and signing a pledge to that effect for a taxpayer group. He went back on that with his first budget. The courts basically said politicians can't be held to their election promises even when they sign a pledge to that effect. How many times did the minster of National defense tell the nation he did not know of the CDS wrong doings, how many times did Justin tell us he found out through the media.... And i'm sure the cons and the rest of them are just as guilty.... They do it because we want them to... or we don't care . Their politicians every time they talk they are lying...
