That literally makes no sense. He ran massive deficits. Who would borrow money in 2016 and just set it aside and pay interest on it, until they need it? "Uhh I just took out a $2M loan and I'm paying interest on it indefinitely in case I really need that money in the future". He’s hardly little and he made no secret of his intention to run deficits. This coming from one of the people who was apoplectic that impeachment was necessary for things that "TRUMP DID!!!" which have since been proven to be no more than rumours started by Hillary Clinton and other Dem toadies. If Trump did something this stupid with Russian terrorists you would be screaming blue murder, but to you this is just "a mistake". Allowing actual terrorists to walk free here is not an honest mistake. At the very best it's so stupid that it is criminal negligence. Eventually one or more of those scumbags that Trudeau calls "fighters" will kill innocent Canadians, or someone that they indoctrinate with old-school islamic bigotry will kill Canadians, and then what will you say? Not everyone who disagrees with me is a traitor, but everyone who voted for Trudeau is an idiot. I argued Trudeau should be removed from office for what he did with Lavalin and I think Trump should have been impeached yes however I never called either a traitor or argued they were treasonous. I argued they acted in conflict of interest.Conflict of interest is not necessarily treasonous and in fact immaterial to the legal issues they both incited. I contend you throw out the word traitor in angry partisan name calling without giving any thought to the legality of the concept. As a result I argued your anger colours your dialogue as it does your responses to me and you failed to show any double standard I have used in application of conflict of interest. Do not include me in your name calling of Trudeau as a traitor... I contend you have lost your perspective and mix partisan disagreement over specific policies Trudeau has presented during the pandemic which is evidenced and so is capable of being considered valid with your projecting of treasonous intent on Trudeau..which I argue is unproven and therefore can not be considered valid. Do you even have a clue what that post was about? Did any half-sensible person expect him to be frugal and cut spending in order to save for a rainy day? I preferred the policies of the inter-Trudeau years on that score but we are where we are. Indeed many developed countries have worse federal debt as a proportion of GDP than we do heading into this crisis but, of course, there’s provincial, municipal, corporate and personal debt to be considered too. Interesting times. Quote
