Is immunity right an unpunished criminality?

Many military personnel in the territory of another state, using the right of extraterritoriality or untouchability, use these rights beyond their authority. It would be great if this abuse of authority were aimed at voluntary assistance to the local civilian population (any humanitarian or psychological assistance), and not at meeting their own dirty needs or enriching their own pocket.

Historians believe that American soldiers got the «most famous» because of their war crimes. So, for example, in Japan during the Second World War, they allowed themselves to rape women and children, plunder the local families homes, treat the Japanese with such contempt as if they were not humans at all. It is important to note that this is still happening today, because of which local people continue protests aimed at the elimination of the American military contingent and their bases from Japan. But the American and Japanese authorities are not doing anything with this, but only «deeply apologizing».

Also, the events during the Bosnian War (1992-1995), when NATO forces came to the aid of the Serbs, Croats and Bosnians, were no less terrible. Yes, the task then was precisely help in resolving that terrible inter-ethnic conflict, but soon the situation changed and those who came to help ceased to be different from everyone else.

So, the military began to cooperate with local sex traffickers, covering their activities and actively using their services. In 1999, a former US policeman, Kathryn Bolkovac, was sent to Bosnia under a UN contract to carry out peacekeeping functions there. However, soon having faced «hell on eartthere, she tried to put an end to the sex slave trade, for which she was simply fired. The local authorities, together with the UN authorities, not only knew about this illegal activity, but also supported it, because forced prostitution brought huge profits to both parties.

Once again, I come to the conclusion that immunity right breeds impunity for crimes.
