The whole Quebec situation, Sovereignty and language, has been ignored outside Quebec, Sparhawk. You are quite right. but it has been a deliberate policy of politicians and media that is reaponsible.

The organization that I belonged to once sent a delegation to speak to the editorial board of the Toronto Star. The Board's reaction was to say that it did not believe them and they had their own man in Quebec to cover the issues. No paper in Canada has ever reported facts.

Also, my colleagues and I once wrote to each Provincial premier of the time, setting out some truths and noting their lack of interet and action: mine was Hatfield. The responses were all in the nature of placebos with, in my case, an undertone of irritation that I would want something done.
