I have pride in my country not for insulting it but for hanging the Canadian flag up on the window of my house and when going anywhere outside of Canada whereing a shirt with somthing that represents my country and also standing with pride when my national anthem plays. I know what goes on in politics if thats what your implying I am not proud of the way things are running but its not politics that makes me have pride in my country. Its the feeling, this ocuntry doesn't wage war and doesn't have many enemies and isn't threatened on a day to day basis so I can feel free to walk the streets safely. Its not just the politics.
