of course... a 'small beans' declaration allows you to summarily dismiss those significant reversals - the first of many... with the best yet to come!

meanwhile in 'exploding CPC heads' territory, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale has just vowed to overhaul the 'punitive' changes introduced by Harper to the criminal pardons system

It was small beans because it was small beans. What else can I say. And given how soft Liberals have always been on crime and violence, I'm hardly surprised they'd be eager to ingratiate themselves with the rapist and street gang population by reducing the severity of criminal sentencing.

The pardons system is not sentencing.

I think most of these in this article have been mentioned, but it's a decent synopsis of the rapid flip-flopping of the CPC.

...

former defence minister Jason Kenney advised the new government to avoid appointments to government offices that could be partisan in nature.

This is by far the funniest. Does Kenney think that people's memories are really this short.

Either Harper had all of these people under his thumb and they weren't allowed to voice an opinion, or they are a bunch of hypocrites. It's quite astonishing how there has been such a turn in rhetoric.

Legalize pot quickly? Release documents from the Saudi arms deal that the CPC refused to do themselves?

It's like the last 10 years didn't even happen for Kenney, Clement and Ambrose! Where were they???
