Nanotechnology weapons would be like nanite viruses and such. Fortunately we should all have augmented nanite immune systems by then.

How about a nano-swarm I can upload my consciousness to?  That would be so cool. We could switch between or experience awareness thru multiple scattered aspects or expand it the way a bunch of smaller telescopes do when they turn themselves into a giant telescope.  There'd probably be some pretty interesting temporal effects when consciousness was scattered over vast distances. Being spaced-out would take on a new meaning.
