Keepitsimple Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 We're talking about repeat and violent offenders. These criminals - and their lawyers - game the system with as many pre-trial motions and delays as they can muster - precisely to get as much "credit" as they can. Unless there is something constructive in their decision - an acknowledgment that the intent of the law is sound and it just needs a tweak or two.....otherwise, it's a disgusting decision and flies in the face of what Canadians want....violent and repeat offenders in jail. eyeball Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 I think trials take far too long to arrange and far too long to run Obviously we need far more judges. To my mind, judges are nothing but political appointees whose major qualification for their jobs is not ability but who they sucked up to. But I'm guessing more judges are out of the question. Your ginch are probably destined to be bound up in a frustrated Gordian knot for the rest of your life. Their very well-compensated job is to enforce the laws written by parliament. I thought that was the job of the police. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
