maplesyrup Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Ontario hospitals are paying their employees too much: study What a pile of garbage - same old, same old tripe! -from another website The Fraser Institute has nothing to say about skyrocketing economic disparity. They've made no comment whatsoever about corporate executives or CEOs being overpaid. Just the same old divide and conquer bullshit: Look at your neighbour with a critical eye, and a jealous heart. Why should he have more than you, who works just as hard? Slavik44 Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Well the last study I checked said ontario hospitals have the lowest waiting lists in Canada in comparison to other provinces so they must be doing something right. I would prefer to see their pay in comparison to other provinces other then a few generalizations in percentages. We could also question wether it is hospital workers who are overpaid or private sector workers who are underpaid. I also tried to check around for cost of living, and while I couldn't find exact numbers I found a few reports that ranked Toronto as the most expensive place to live in Canada, perhpas contributing to the higher wages. I am really very wary of taking a side or condemning anyone in this as it never once compared doctors salaries to other provinces, or gave a percentage for the increas ein doctors salaries. Which woudl lead me to belive if you are not showing it you are hiding it. Quote The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.
