Slavik44 Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I want to go into politics becausze I admire so many politicans. I want to be just like them. Well I must be the exact opposite of you, If I was to go into politics it would be because there are no "role model" politicians, In my life I can't really say that guy was good, that guy did something smart, It seems like every politician has a black spot on their record, either that or just a black record. It seems to me that there are no politicians to look up to, no politicians that are inspiring, that are visionaries, or even posses a true wholistic and complete vision, I think to many politicians are into politics because they ran into a very late midlife crisis and instead of buying a porsche they decided to make a name for themselves, very few have ever given a reason for being what they are or doing what they do. Anyways I have 40 to 50 years before I hit a very late midlife crisis, and maybe I wont buy a porsche who kows. Quote The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.
