Cheers, Common sense Where is the common sense in believing that gun bans actually cut down on armed crime? Or make law-abiding citizens any safer? If I am in a shopping mall and some wingnut starts a shooting spree, I am likely dead! You and your bans can do nothing for me! Or for my family, if they are with me. If I have a gun of my own, or at least if there are armed and trained guards in the mall, there is a chance they might be able to shoot the wingnut before he shoots me. If I am supposed to just wait until the police arrive then I might as well find a more painless way to kill myself before the wingnut gets me. That is just common sense!
