Similar type policy that had American banks forced to lend to people that wouldn't otherwise qualify. Yes, the banks were heavily victimized, "forced" into lending behaviour that hurt them terribly. But justice prevailed, and they were richly compensated through tax dollars...which is the proper use of tax monies. Now, let's start gutting those wasteful social programs so that the lower-class thieves can stop hurting everybody.
