olpfan1 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Between posting an average of 40 messages per day here and following the twitterverse, you're a busy guy. I just hope you're getting enough fresh air. Why are you making this personal with me? Did I offend you? Quote
olpfan1 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 (edited) Tell me about all these child pornographers Anonymous helped nab and all the top Mexican drug cartel leaders they helped arrest. Perhaps Anonymous could offer their assistance in rewriting Bill C-30. After all, Canada has been known for years to be a haven for child pornographers. There'a a great thing you could use called Google, it works wonders when you want to learn more about an unfamiliar topic btw edit, they took on the cartel but nobody got arrested cause it was too dangerous for them however they do target pedophiles Edited February 19, 2012 by olpfan1 Quote
Topaz Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 BTW, On the ist of March, Google can take any information that you google and use it anytime or put it any where, so I suggest you do your research on google for future uses, I'm getting rid of it the end of the month. Quote
cybercoma Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 btw Anonymous ... theyre not anarchy I think you need to look up the definition of anarchy again. They're most certainly anarchists. Self-professed anarchists even. Quote

Argus Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Cavoukian says that by accessing customer information such as the client's name, phone number, IP address and subscriber data, one can find out "what web sites an individual has gone to, someone's surfing habits online, what videos they're viewing, what content they read." No, you actually can't do any of that. Talk about paranoia. Topaz Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 If Vic didn't know what was in the Bill, then he isn't doing his job so why should he get his pay check or his pension if he doesn't know what's going on. This is just another example of the Tory minister not knowing what is going on. Just like O'Connor, when he said the Red Cross were checking on the prisoners in Afghanistan and he found out they weren't! Quote

I wonder who copied who, or both people putting them forward got them from the same corporate lobbyists? Quote

I wonder who copied who, or both people putting them forward got them from the same corporate lobbyists? The conservatives make sure the americans review all of our bills before the opposition sees them this was already shown with the copyright bill so you can bet they do it with other bills too In fact Toews knew what was in the legislation .. faking ignorance would lessen the blowback on him and cpc rather than out right saying we want this Quote
dre Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Any reasonable person should be terrified that these people are even TALKING about the internet. In fact Toews knew what was in the legislation .. faking ignorance would lessen the blowback on him and cpc rather than out right saying we want this Thats my read as well, and I would go even further and say that its possible that the WORST parts of the bill are a smokescreen. They will ammend it and remove a few of the most dangerous provisions giving the illusion that a compromise has been made, they have listened to peoples concerns, and the bill is fixed. But the bill will pass with they most dangerous provision still intact, and that is the requirement for ISP's to archive our data. Quote I question things because I am human. Topaz Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Another thing the Tories are going to do or should, is to apologize to the NDP for accusing them of doing this when NO ONE knows who really did it. Of course, the mouth of the north Baird, stood and opened his mouth and let the words fly, accusing them of doing when he knew he couldn't be sued unlike Del Mastro, who could be sued for saying the same thing on Sunday CTV QP, he had a chance to take it back but he didn't, sued him! It was reported 4000 computers at that Hill ISP address, they will never find out who. Could have been anyone from the MPs, senators, speakers, pages, staff, security guards, and even VIC. Quote
jbg Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 you want to attack me personally manny, youve been reported You're not supposed to report "reporting" someone. That's a violation.
