Wild Bill Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah, 9M isn't even the correct number of people who voted in the 2011 election. Yeah, she got everything wrong! Still, the left defends her while acting outraged at any personal jokes. Meanwhile, they laugh at Mayor Ford in Toronto for being fat and not knowing who is the CBC Warrior Princess! Hypocrites, the lot of them! cybercoma Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah, she got everything wrong! Still, the left defends her while acting outraged at any personal jokes. Meanwhile, they laugh at Mayor Ford in Toronto for being fat and not knowing who is the CBC Warrior Princess! Hypocrites, the lot of them! When you say "the left" you must be talking about me, since I was the one criticized you about your comments. However, I never once laughed at Ford for being overweight because it's completely irrelevant, just as your completely inappropriate comments about this politician's body is irrelevant. I also didn't defend what she said, although she hardly needs defending. She made a mistake in a speech. It happens so often to politicians that it's not even surprising. The sheer stupidity of it all is that your faux condemnation would never have been levelled at a conservative politician for the same mistake. This is nothing short of partisan nonsense. Quote
Boges Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah the cleavage issue isn't really a slag on her. It's people thinking that showing the "girls" would be offensive to people in the South Asian Community that I find kinda weird. Then again you don't wear blouses that low-cut unless you want people to see your "assets". So don't act surprised when people have an opinion on your attire. As for the population issue, had a Conservative said that there'd be people analyzing how a member of the government can do their job properly when they don't even know how many people are in Canada. Remember when the 15-year-old kid went after Peter Kent for using internet speak on Twitter? Quote

In any case, although a few in this thread have acknowledged she misspoke, apparently, you can self-acknowledge a "whiff" quite easily... while you continue to bear down on your ridiculous threads premise, hey? Need anymore evidence Quebec elected any NDPer with a pulse what does your pulse tell you about the location of the Scarborough-Rouge River riding? You know what you're right, I totally whiffed on this thread. Remember when the 15-year-old kid went after Peter Kent for using internet speak on Twitter? please... don't take any of the credit away from Tony Clement! Quote
Evening Star Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah, I don't think her blunder is worse than thinking that Scarborough is in Quebec. Quote
Boges Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 Yeah, I don't think her blunder is worse than thinking that Scarborough is in Quebec. I didn't do it while being filmed though. Quote
Tilter Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Summing up. NDP lady finally finds where her constituency office and phone number is, then is controlled by blond genes. Offensive according to ? Offensive is goooood! P.C. is bad. Airhead's cleavage issue (*)(*) is air brushed. NDP never claimed to know population beyond Quebec's borders. She might have been thinking of how many running for Que... ooops! ....NDP's leadership? Although it's not quite that many. What comes to mind, with the gaffe, is that she typifies a politician's knowledge of Canada.. .an Americans that is. She, like a lot of the Quebec NDP MPs, is likely still in grade school ecole. and if she relies on a Quebec education about Canada she has found that the western shore of Canada is 20 miles east of Cornwall and the eastern boundary is at the Quebec border east and that Quebekkers are shipping vast amounts of cash to the ROC so they can further take advantage of Quebec's good & kind nature. Evening Star Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Ha, three posters have now apparently concluded that the MP for Scarborough-Rouge-River represents a Quebec riding and are mocking her knowledge of the country! Oh, the ironing... Quote
