Shwa Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 (edited) Thread to discuss the Packers beating the Detroit Lions today. This not being a holiday in Canada, I will have to be satisfied with watching the game replay over and over, at least until New Years Day at Lambeau. Packers beat Lions, improve to 11-0 Ndamukong Suh ejected, denies stomp Suh was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected early in the third quarter after the Lions thought they'd stopped the Packers on third down near the Detroit goal line. A replay showed Suh and Green Bay's Evan Dietrich-Smith scuffling on the ground briefly before the All-Pro defensive tackle got up and stomped at Dietrich-Smith's upper right arm. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Capers, defense put a whippin' on Lions Sweet! For those that actually saw the game live, please discuss. Edited November 25, 2011 by Shwa Quote
msj Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 For those that actually saw the game live, please discuss. I have NFL Game Pass and the game is already available as a "condensed" game. This is where they edit the game down to just the plays. The typical game now takes about 26-28 minutes to watch and I have become so used to it that I am dreading the thought of watching the REAL! Lions play the Bombers live on Sunday. That's 3 hours of my life I will never get back! Never thought I would write that about football but there it is. Quote If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. I am sure it will come up on the NFL Network too. When all the key plays show up on YouTube, I'll be sure to post them. Historic win for the Pack. Quote

Guest American Woman Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Shwa do you just hate the Lions because Shady loves them? The Lions vs. the Packers is an old rivalry, which is why they play on Thanksgiving. Most Packer fans will razz Lion fans when they win. It's expected. Quote
Boges Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 The Lions vs. the Packers is an old rivalry, which is why they play on Thanksgiving. Most Packer fans will razz Lion fans when they win. It's expected. Only the Lions and Cowgirls play every year on Turkey Day. Up until this year it was thought that the Lions were too shitteh to get a Nationally Televised game like that every year. This is the 8th Thanksgiving game they've lost in a row. Quote

DFCaper Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I had a buddy at the game, and said the croud was awesome. We used to go to games a few years ago, but stopped when I lost hope in them (and had a kid). I think yesterdays game was the closest score in a while. I think Suh will get a game for the kick. He has had too many fines to just make it another fine. And he is one of my favorite players. My new Lions jersy is his. From what I heard, if the Lion's offense wasn't so bad for penalties, they would have made a better game of it than what the score shows... Jack Weber Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Why on earth would you think I hate the Lions? I don't hate the Lions... I find them, historically speaking, laughably pathetic!!! (By the way,Mr Suh is looking for an O-Lineman to do a cut block to the knees and give him a taste of his own medicine) I don't even hate the Packers, even though I should, considering the rivalry....Minly because I have alot of respect for the Lombardi years in Green Bay... That being said,Bear down,(Jay Cutlerless) Chicago Bears!!!! Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
