Sir Bandelot Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Irony is a bitch Troopers say Contos would have likely survived if he had been wearing a helmet. Was he a Zeke? Quote
kimmy Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 I don't even go out on my bicycle without a helmet. Still, I must ask: if someone doesn't have to wear a helmet, why should anybody else have to? Why is "my sky-daddy says not to cover my head" any more valid a reason than "it messes up my hair"? -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

Oleg Bach Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Layed in a hamock..strung between two pine trees..It was up about four feet in the air and it suddenly broke at both ends..The impact was extremely intense. People do not realize that when a body or object picks up speed and suddenly stops that things go squish...Imagine traveling at 20 clicks and your head suddenly stops dead...the skull - the fluid - the blood and brain matter continue to travel. A quick decompostion occurs of a highly composed structure.. Wear a skid lid...you will still be injured but at least the damage will be less. Less is more. Quote
