What do they think they are accomplishing by doing this? If anything, this invigorates those who are wronged into voting even more. Edited May 2, 2011 by nittanylionstorm07 Quote

guyser Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) ...and do the people receiving these calls have a common demographic? Yup....they are all too stupid to read the card they have and the polling station address. (well ok I see they 'changed' it....oops) Edited May 2, 2011 by guyser Quote

Moonbox Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Moe conservative tricks. LoL Battletoads you're a joke. What are you basing that on? It's likely just some pissed off fringe looney with a chip on his shoulder. We received one of these calls actually. I found that rather funny because we'd already voted in the advance polls. Moonbox Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Was the number blocked? I'd imagine so. I'm sure it was I wasn't the one who took the call. Anyone but an idiot won't fall for it. The people who do probably shouldn't be voting anyways.... I kid I kid. Everyone should vote....but still.... I'm listening to CBC radio at work, and they just said it was a 450 area code- suburbs of Montreal. My guess is Justin Trudeau.. he wants to make sure the party he takes over isn't too hard of a job to rebuild. Quote
ninjandrew Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 The number wasnt blocked. The article said buddy called it back and it went to voicemail. Also, it doesnt matter where the voter card said to go, the whole point of the call was to tell them that was where NOT to go. As for a common demographic, the closest I can guess is that it they all had the same colour sign on there lawns. I hope I get to hear about the huge fine this scumbag is going to get. It was random as far as I can tell. Neither myself nor anyone in my household has ever voted NDP or ever intended to. I'm not a member of any party nor do I have an election sign on my lawn.
