August1991 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) Link here. If I understand properly, Mansbridge offered a formal studio interview, or a day in the campaign. Layton opted for the crew following him for the day. Mansbridge's first question: "Where is the bar set for you?" Layton: "That's an interesting question." Mansbridge: "You know, you and I represent the generation that will soon overload the public health system... " Layton: "I don't have the magic answer... This will be the biggest challenge we face." Coalition? No. But Layton made Harper do good. And on, and on. ---- Does Mansbridge like Layton? I don't think so. Does Mansbridge like Ignatieff or Harper? I don't think so. Does Mansbridge like Castro or Putin? I don't think so. Mansbridge, above all, wants to be the guy on nightly English CBC TV. For Mansbridge, the worst nightmare would be to become "some ordinary guy in a Starbucks". Ordinary is synonym of failure. Edited April 20, 2011 by August1991 Quote
