g_bambino
I take it you have no clue what happened to mammoths. And neither do scientists. I and they do: the mammoths died. ------------ This game Saipan is playing is akin to, but somewhat opposite to CANADIEN's earlier illustration of betsy's tactic. Saipan: What's one plus one? Teacher bambino: one plus one equals two. Saipan: What's one plus one? Teacher bambino: Two. Saipan: What's one plus one? Teacher bambino: Two. Saipan: What's one plus one? (one hour later) Teacher bambino: You can't accept the answer to the question is two. Saipan: See, you don't know what one plus one is. I've won! g_bambino
They didn't want to live anymore? I don't know. Some might've been suicidal. No evidence has yet been found to say so for sure.
Saipan
I don't know. Some might've been suicidal. No evidence has yet been found to say so for sure. Back to what I said. Scientists have no clue. Same goes for sabretooth tiger, short face bear, dire wolf....etc.

g_bambino
Scientists have no clue. Not true. Same goes for sabretooth tiger, short face bear, dire wolf....etc. It's called extinction.
g_bambino
And yet they claim they know what happened 60 million years ago. Some of what happened, yes. Again: You confuse that with scientists saying they know everything. None ever said they do.
Saipan
Not true. It's called extinction. There is ALWAYS a reason for extinction. What happen in mammoths case?
Saipan
Some of what happened, yes. Again: You confuse that with scientists saying they know everything. None ever said they do. I never said they don't know anything. I said they don't know what happen to dinos, except that they are gone. They don't know what happen FAR more recently to mammoths. g_bambino
I said they don't know what happen to dinos, except that they are gone. They don't know what happen FAR more recently to mammoths. Yes, you are saying that; repeatedly. But you must be doing so for a reason, and that reason appears to be to discredit science. That there hasn't yet been a final conclusion as to why mammoths died out doesn't mean science has failed. Same with the dinosaurs; although, in that case, enough evidence has been uncovered to put one theory far above all the others. Other evidence has shown us that dinosaurs didn't actually go completely extinct; you can get a piece of one at McDonald's today, in a bun. That there hasn't yet been a final conclusion as to why mammoths died out There's non. Never mind "final". Same with the dinosaurs; although, in that case, enough evidence has been uncovered to put one theory far above all the others. Let's have it then. g_bambino
Yes they died but why? Because the biological processes that sustained their life ceased to function. [sp] Edited August 29, 2011 by g_bambino
