These are my "objective" opinions:

Layton was irritating and disrespectful. He spoke too often over others, particularly Martin.

Harper managed to seem reasonable but did not present any kind of idea of the kind of Canada he wants.

Martin survived an onslaught on three sides and even managed to get his messaged out.

Duceppe was the only one who seriously challenged Martin on the sponsorship scandal.

IMV, the French debate was better. This one was too noisy. I suspect many people just tuned out.
