Forum Admin Greg Posted October 22, 2010 Forum Admin Report Share Posted October 22, 2010 I just want to inform everyone that I am aware of the incorrect server time being displayed in the forums. We have been attempting to resolve this issue for the past couple of days. Each time we correct the time, it reverts to the wrong time after-wards. Also note, that a few posters have reporting issues with posting and viewing certain postings after the server clock has been updated and corrected. If that should happen, the only thing you can do is wait a few hours to allow the forum to "catch-up" with the new corrected time. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I appreciate your cooperation. Sir Bandelot
I tried to point out this problem a few days ago, but my post didn't seem to get saved. I think the clock issue needs to be fixed. At night when it rolls past midnight (several hours ahead of real time) I notice that any new posts don't show up on the "New Content" link. But they do seem to still be there, when you click the "Active Content" link. I'm guessing this might have something to do with the fact that new posts made after midnight when it's still technically YESTERDAY on the real clock, is confusing the server somehow. Note that upon rolling it back, all subsequent posts for the next several hours will be listed as BEFORE posts that were made earlier, when the clock was AHEAD. Bit of a conundrum...
