His tender is for only 18-24 months and then he will return to Onex. Come on, Iggy also lived in Britain and no one complains about that. I've listened to Iggy and he loves this country and wants to help it make it better. Living in the US and doing BUSINESS with the US is two totally different things. Until, Iggy has the chance to govern, you or the Tory party can't say it wouldn't be a good thing. Quote

We know that, because when the press release went out announcing the appointment, it said right there that Nigel Wright was a big shot at Onex Corp. • Part of his job at Onex was as a director of Hawker Beechcraft. • Hawker is a partner with Lockheed Martin in an attempt to sell planes to the U.S. government. • Lockheed builds the F-35s Canada is buying. • Wright is taking a leave from Hawker for his new post with Harper. But it’s a temporary job and he will go back to being a rich businessman at Onex when it’s over. --- NDP MP Pat Martin (Winnipeg Centre, Man.) said in his opinion Mr. Wright’s link to the Hawker Beechcraft partnership with Lockheed Martin “doesn’t pass the smell test.” Hold it, we have a caller on one of our phone lines.
