punked Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 While Shady is attacking Coons for going to and graduating form Yale his Lady is straight up lying about attending Oxford. Remember this is the lady who would not lie to save a Jew from Hitler but padding her resume is just fine. Oh Republicans sometimes. Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell (R-DE) proclaimed on her LinkedIn the University of Oxford under "education," but it turns out that's another exaggeration on her resume. The claim is that O'Donnell earned a certificate from an Oxford course which her campaign said is "overseen" by a summer seminar program called the Phoenix Institute. The Washington Post's Greg Sargent uncovered the whopper of a discrepancy, and a Phoenix representative overseeing the course she took told Sargent that O'Donnell's LinkedIn claim is "misleading." http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/09/christine-odonnell-lies-about-attending-oxford-university.php?ref=fpa Quote

Shady Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Hmmm, Joe Biden comes to mind. During his first year of law school, in 1965, Biden wrote a paper in which he lifted five pages verbatim from the Fordham Law Review.Biden was forced out of the 1988 race for the Democratic nomination when Maureen Dowd reported on the front page of The New York Times that Biden, debating at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, lifted his closing remarks from a speech delivered by British Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock. Biden was found the same year to have lifted words from speeches by Bobby Kennedy. Also... In 1987, Biden erupted in anger at a campaign stop in New Hampshire, responding to a man who asked him where he went to law school and how he performed there: “I think I have a much higher IQ than you do. ... I went to law school [syracuse University College of Law] on a full academic scholarship.” He added that he “ended up in the top half” of his class. “I won the international moot-court competition.” (He did not have a full academic scholarship and he graduated at the bottom of his class — 76th out of 85.) Also that year, Biden lied about his college (University of Delaware) record, claiming he had been named the “outstanding student in the political-science department ... I graduated with three degrees from college.” (He was not named the outstanding student, and he graduated, 506th in a class of 688, with one degree, not three.) Wow, O'Donnell's a piker compared to the current VP. I'm not sure she's lied enough to be qualified to hold his former senate seat! Quote
punked Posted September 29, 2010 Author Report Posted September 29, 2010 Hmmm, Joe Biden comes to mind. Wow, O'Donnell's a piker compared to the current VP. I'm not sure she's lied enough to be qualified to hold his former senate seat! Yah Biden did fib about somethings he won and where he graduated. HE DIDN'T LIE ABOUT ALL THREE SCHOOLS HE CLAIMED TO HAVE GONE TOO!!! BTW TPM found another school Shady's girl pretended to have gone to has never had her attend and knows nothing about her. Unlike Biden who went to the Schools he claimed O'Donnell just makes the schools up!!!!! Shady's type of Republican BOLD face liar. Claremont Graduate University tells TPM that Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell did not attend the Southern California school despite listing it under education on her LinkedIn profile. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/09/another-school-says-christine-odonnell-did-not-attend.php?ref=fpb Quote
Shady Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Yah Biden did fib about somethings he won and where he graduated. And how many degrees he finished. He claimed 3. Reality said 1. Like I said, O'Donnell's a piker compared to Plugs Biden. She's gonna have to lie about a lot more to be qualifed to hold ol'Biden's senate seat! Quote

Like I said, O'Donnell's a piker compared to Plugs Biden. She's gonna have to lie about a lot more to be qualifed to hold ol'Biden's senate seat! He received a DOUBLE major at the University of Delaware, A Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. You might take issue with how Biden counts his degrees but he NEVER CLAIMED TO HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE HE DIDN'T. He claimed to have three degrees which is stretching the truth as he is counting his Double Major as two degrees however he did receive his degree from TWO different departments at the UD. Unlike O'Donnell who had no degree last year and who claimed to have attended Oxford, Princeton, and Claremont Graduate University all of which she did not attended as well claimed to for 20 years to have gotten a degree from she only got last year. Yah your liar wins Shady sorry. I would also point out much of what Shady says about Biden is a Bold Face Lie. University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science. Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Ranked 76th out of 85. Shady please count the degrees. Shady also does not mention in the law school Incident Biden was cleared in the end. I forgot in Shady's world all that matters in the accusations. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=950DE1DD1230F93AA15756C0A96F948260 Edited September 29, 2010 by punked Quote

I forgot in Shady's world all that matters in the accusations. Nope. The law school incident isn't the ony instance of Biden's plagarism. In that instance, he was given an F, but allowed to repeat the course. However, what he plagarizes best, is other politicians speeches. And then passes them off as his own. Quote

NOPE he was cleared of all wrong doing and the F was erased from his record. He retook the class because he was kicked out until he challenged it a challenge which he won. If you READ the NYT article you would know that because that IS WHAT THE SCHOOL SAID. Not only did the school say that but Biden was later cleared by Delaware Supreme Court's Board of Professional Responsibility. So come back when O'Donnell has the Delaware Supreme Court's Board of Professional Responsibility backing her and stop lying. As for your second video Biden has quoted and used the speeches of Neil Kinnock tens if not hundreds of times before. Problem is this time he didn't say who it was from. Honest mistake when you take into account how MANY TIMES he quoted from Neil Kinnock. It might also interest you to know Kinnock and Biden are good friends and when the two are together Biden introduces Kinnock as his best speech writer. Poor poor Shady knows nothing about anything is trying to lie his way out of backing the one of the poorest Candidates to run for the US senate. Edited September 29, 2010 by punked Quote

Shady Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 At least Biden would have lied to the Nazis if he had Jews hidden in his basement. I'm not so sure. I think he would've passed off Mein Kampf as his own! He seems to have a pretty long history of doing so. Quote
BubberMiley Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 I'm not so sure. I think he would've passed off Mein Kampf as his own! He seems to have a pretty long history of doing so. Why is it all right for Christine O'Donnell to lie, but terrible if Joe Biden does. And why is it okay for you to lie by saying vague accusations like he "has a pretty long history of doing so?" Shady Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Why is it all right for Christine O'Donnell to lie, but terrible if Joe Biden does. I'd like to ask you the same thing, but in reverse. And why is it okay for you to lie by saying vague accusations like he "has a pretty long history of doing so?" How is it a lie? He's even admitted he didn't cite his sources properly in law school. And that doesn't count the several speeches from other politicians he tried to pawn off has his own. Quote

He's even admitted he didn't cite his sources properly in law school. And that doesn't count the several speeches from other politicians he tried to pawn off has his own. He admitted he didn't cite his sources properly? You just mentioned almost everyone who has ever written a paper. In the end however he was found to have done no wrong, and was cleared by his school and by the Delaware Supreme Court's Board of Professional Responsibility. So we have Biden who when he was in school made a mistake which 80-90% of all people in school make vs. O'Donnell who has BOLD FACED LIED about three places she has NEVER attended. Know who else did a poor job of citing sources? The Bible. Almost every book written before the 1800s. Albert Einstein, Newton and Darwin. Sorry but comparing O'Donnell's Lies to Biden forgetting some citations that is dumbest thing you have said today. New award for you. Quote

Shady Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 I think it's terrible Biden didn't cite his sources properly. Really? Judging from your previous posts, it doesn't seem so. In fact, you seem to very much care about O'Donnell's situation, but could care very little for Biden. Why is that? Why did you decide to start posting in this thread, if you're so equally bothered by other politicians lies as well? Quote

I only asked why you think it's okay that O'Donnell lies because I knew you don't have the balls to answer it. Time for you to disappear, I guess. Dithers Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Ah, same old on this forum. Why even acknowledge Shady? He refuses to acknowledge the original post here because he can't, so he flails around making ridiculous connections thinking he's successfully sidestepped the original controversy.
