Topaz Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 I don't think it really matters if they voted for it or not the Tories and the Libs are going to pay for it down the road unless Ontario and B.C. can make easy on the consumers. Quote
Jerry J. Fortin Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Every elected representative should be docked a days pay for every damned absence from the Commons. Ther laws passed by this government say that your employer can do it to you, its merely sauce for the goose. Quote

Ther laws passed by this government say that your employer can do it to you, its merely sauce for the goose. You are right, maybe they should be put on a piece rate system to be worked out. If they don't show, they forfeit remuneration, they show they make money. Canadians have a right to know their position on Bills before the house. Canadians don't need cowards. Quote Job 40 (King James Version) 11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. 12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. 13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
madmax Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Every elected representative should be docked a days pay for every damned absence from the Commons. Ther laws passed by this government say that your employer can do it to you, its merely sauce for the goose. Many of the LPC and CPC MPs were present, just missed the vote. Harper made certain the vote came when he was far far away. I don't believe any NDP or BQ MPs missed the vote whom were present earlier that day. Quote
robert_viera Posted December 5, 2009 Author Report Posted December 5, 2009 I don't believe any NDP or BQ MPs missed the vote whom were present earlier that day. Nathan Cullen (NDP), Peter Julian (NDP), and Serge Cardin (Bloc) all voted on an earlier motion that day. Quote THE BROWN RETORT | Photos of householders and ten-percenters
madmax Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Looks like there could be conspiring minds behind the scenes. Quote
Alta4ever Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 so what Quote "What about the legitimacy of the democratic process, yeah, what about it?" Jack Layton and his coup against the people of Canada “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’” President Ronald Reagan
madmax Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 so what The MPs are afraid of HST backlash in Ontario and BC. And they were afraid to vote. Expose them for the frauds they are, then let the public decide. Quote
