One should never deny their opposition their chance to gloat. The left was doing it just last fall with the victory of the most liberal president in decades.

Now a conservative majority seems more than possible. This happens in Canada but once a generation or so, so enjoy it.

I left my mind open for Ignatieff but I'm still waiting to hear the great ideas were were supposed to hear from him. I don't hear big ideas from Harper either, but I'll bet you anything he has them. He has been in Ottawa long enough to understand how things work and I wouldn't be surprised if he completely paves over Ottawa before he's done.

Here's a big idea of the Tories. Do you how they are going to pay off some of the debt. By upping EI premiums and this will bring in 19Billion and they say the deficit will be 20-25 Bil after the stilmus is done, so with cuts and the 19 billion they can pay off the deficit. BUT... what about the people who aren't working and paying into EI, what about the workers 60-65 who will retire and not pay into EI and what happen if the recession is very slow in leaving??
