Mr.Canada Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Canada's spy services have a new power: the ability to listen in on “homegrown” Canadian suspects travelling abroad to terrorism hot-spots such as Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan. In a Federal Court decision released today, Mr. Justice Richard Mosley decided the court can sign off on domestic warrants that allow for the international surveillance of Canadian citizens suspected of links to terrorism. Source/Full Story Canada has need ed this type of power for quite some time now. I'm actually quite surprised it went through though to be quite honest but it is most welcome. The Canadian government has a responsibility to keep Canadians safe from terrorists foreign or domestic, at home or abroad and this surely helps in that regard. I see this as non-partisan to be quite honest as I'm sure every Canadian regardless of political stripe is interested in their own self preservation and is against being terrorized. As the face of terrorism changes so to must we change. Quote "You are scum for insinuating that isn't the case you snake." -William Ashley Canadian Immigration Reform Blog

Once the suspected terrorist leaves Canada we could never wiretap or trace them or even follow them now we can keep tans on these creeps that mean to do harm to Canada and her citizens.
