maplesyrup Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Jack Layton was the guest last evening on viland voices (Vancouver Island TV) with host Moe Sihota and Conservative pundit Norm Spector. The question for last night's show was: "Has Jack Layton favourably changed your perception of the NDP?" Response was: "Yes" by 79% of the respondents. Anyway Layton had to deal with several hard ball questions thrown at him from Spector, Sihota, and the callers, however Jack sailed through with an exceptionally stellar performance. maplesyrup Posted April 25, 2004 Author Report Posted April 25, 2004 NDP are seriously looking at approximately 55 seats in the next federal election. I believe it is doable, and that the NDP will surpass the Bloc in number of seats. falling leaf Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 maplesyrup NDP are seriously looking at approximately 55 seats in the next federal election. I believe it is doable, and that the NDP will surpass the Bloc in number of seats. You have to be dreaming , with only 2 seats in B.C .which shows they have a very poor example for leaders. Kiraly Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 You have to be dreaming , with only 2 seats in B.C .which shows they have a very poor example for leaders. It's the same dream where Belinda Stronach wins the Conservative Leadership on the second ballot. Quote
maplesyrup Posted April 25, 2004 Author Report Posted April 25, 2004 It's the same dream where Belinda Stronach wins the Conservative Leadership on the second ballot. Viewing the most recent poll results don't you realize that the Cons would have been better off to have chosen Belinda as leader? And I am sureby now you have heard former PM Joe Clark's comments on CTV QP today. Quote An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. playfullfellow Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Do you really think anyone cares what Joe Clark has to say anymore. He is from the old school and does not keep with the new times. Quote
