Topaz Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 The swine flu has hit Canada harder it seems than the US, why? All provinces have cases except NFLD and Labrador. Is it the southern winds blowing the flu virus up here and the temperature is now getting warmer and creating the flu to grow? NLFD and Labrador still being cool or cold is probably protecting them from it. The First Nation are being hit the hardest because of the health of this group. Some have diabetes, so they have a tougher time fighting this disease but, the US has more people with this disease, yet we don't hear or know about them. Strange. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Why is it strange? It's just different.....look at what happened with SARS in Ontario vs. BC. Mexico has been hit much harder.......this time around the old people win one! ('Cause we have ben exposed to all kinds of things.) Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
