Topaz Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 It seems that the Auditor General has found discrepancy between the 2008 financial accounting of precious metals and the physical stockpile at the plant, Sussex Drive Ottawa. Now I wonder who in Ottawa really needs that much money???? Quote

Topaz Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 Hmmm...apparently I hear the Liberal Party is now flush with money.Coincidence? Now Dancer, between the two, who REALLY needs the money? The Tories are Billions and billions in debt and Harper said he'll have it paid off in 5 years. Now given what we have seen of this government since 2006, I say the Tories NEED it more and lets hope that there's CPP for you when you are 65 and the country doesn't go broke! Quote

Wickedly brilliant plan! and lets hope that there's CPP for you when you are 65 and the country doesn't go broke! "Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 65?" No, I don't think the Tories did that...they aren't that smart! Quote
Bryan Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Now Dancer, between the two, who REALLY needs the money? The Tories are Billions and billions in debt The Conservative Party has no debt, they have a lot more money than the other parties. Quote
M.Dancer Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 (edited) The Liberal party has no debt. And now we have a clue ....where the missing bullion is.. I would check the Quebec wing...if ya can dig it... Edited June 4, 2009 by M.Dancer Quote RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us
Smallc Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Yeah yeah...but I suppose this is a serious question. Where is the gold? Quote
capricorn Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Perhaps we should check the mouths of all Tory MPs for gold fillings. Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs." Will Rogers
Smallc Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Ok, seriously though, the Liberals didn't take it, or the tories...or the NDP...so who? And don't say the Bloc. Quote
capricorn Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Maybe the Tories thought the gold belonged to them. The mint's Ottawa headquarters houses one of the world's leading gold and silver refineries, turning out almost 2.8 million Troy ounces of refined gold in 2007. http://www.canada.com/Business/Mint+accoun...6084/story.html TROY....TORY... innocent mistake.
