mikedavid00 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) After spending time in other countries, it's easy to sum up in a sentence or two what that particular country is 'all about'. After all these years, I've come to the realization what Canada's purpose is and what we are generally 'all about'. Canada is based off a pyramid scheme where the productive sector at the bottom of the pyramid, holds up the public sector and elites above. That's basically 'what Canada is all about'. Nothing less, nothing more. It's why things are they way they are here. Travel around to other countries and find out what they are 'about'. You'll find Canada is 'all about' exploiting the private sector in order to hold up one big pyramid scheme above it which includes our non-profits, civil servants, gov't 'bodies', regulated bodies (tico for example), various lobby groups and a slew of others. Gov't media sources have kept Canadians in the dark for too long about what we 'really do here'. Their job is to keep you uneducated and ignorant. And it works. This very forum is proof. Please read so you can understand our country a bit more. This data is current or near current and backed by stats can. It's stuff that I've researched before, but now that I'm unemployed (again), I have more time on my hands and can show you exactly what it is we 'do here' in Canada. What we are all 'about': -There's 33.5 million people in Canada -Roughly 11 million or so Canadians work full time and report a 'usual place of work'. -Out out of those 11 million, 3.3 million are employed with the civil service. -Roughly 30% of full time, working Canadians are employed in the civil service. (Note: This is after removing part time workers and people who do not report a usual place of work (like wedding coordinators, and other under the table type stuff that is part of our large underground economy. We are only talking about contributing tax payers that actually 'work'.). -About 8 million people in Canada are true, working tax contributors. -The average civil servant makes about $52,000 a year. This is cross Canada. Cities have higher than usual salaries. -The average above board, full time, private sector employee makes about $33,000 a year if you factor 37.5 hrs a week. Note: (Other charts show 30 being average) Also: (The average pay for a *NON* gov't worker is very hard to find. The best I could do is estimate a salary this chart and conclude about $17/h for real private sector work.) -The gov't ultimately collects about $132B in total taxes through the 8 million people who are actual tax contributors. -The gov't collects about $84B in total 'taxes' from civil servants. -It takes $168B to pay the salaries of the civil servants. (Note: We're not even going near pensions and benefits at this point) -The gov't takes in about $500B a year total revenue taken through various other sources mostly from the private sector: ie 'the rich', corporations, capital gains, etc. etc. -Much of this money is 'recycled' funds. How much exactly is unknown. An example is taxing a civil servant when you paid them through taxes. You are recycling tax money. The gov't really brings in about $400B a year from the productive sector. -The gov't spends most of that money in civil servant salaries, pensions, benefits with a small fraction going towards things like infrastructure projects. (Note: Spending are both direct and indirect. These amounts factor in pensions and civil service salaries, non profits, and other special interest spending (ie: CBC, Suzuki foundation, Mapleleaf Web (indirect), immigrant groups, and the list goes on and on and on) In a nutshell: -There are 8 million productive people in Canada. This 8 million include the rich people who employ them. This is the foundation of the pyramid. -The gov't takes from both groups of people to funnel money up to higher rungs of the pyramid. The owner of this website is higher on the pyramid. He is not on the bottom rung, but on a higher rung and has 'made it' to the other side. Many of the people who post here may not fully realize that they are indirectly subsidizing the owners of this websites lifestyle. Forget the website. Its not really about the website. But rather, we, the tax payers, are, untimately, subsidizing someone elses (and his friends) lifestyle. The website is just a tool or 'public face' to ensure he gets his lifestyle (IN MY PERSONAL OPINION). Go research yourself if you question any of this. I can't be more blunt than this example. This is the most real world example I can give that we all share first hand. -This leaves the 8 million working people with very little left for themselves and business owners who constantly fold in order to fund other peoples lifestyles who are higher in the pyramid. -It eventually backfires to the point where no one is able to get a job or pay taxes. -The gov't then gets desperate and rapes these 8 million people for more in order to fund their empires at the top of the pyramid. -Eventually there is a breaking point, possibly causing civil disobedience once these 8 million people have had enough. -In Canada's case, we have a tightly controlled media and regulatory council which makes sure the 'truth is not known' to average Canadians. -Canadians are kept clueless and ignorant to what is really happening in this country. What is Canada 'about'? Canada is all 'about' taking from the poor, and giving to a higher society. It's taking from our small productive class and funnelling the money up the pyramid to fund lifestyles of a small populas who enjoy their lifestyles. Immigration plays a very key role in supporting this system and is why it is allowed to continue but that's another topic. The goal is to keep moving up the pyramid. The more you help the rung above you, the more you yourself can climb that rung. A classic pyramid scheme. Very few countries are 'about' what Canada is 'about'. Look elsewhere and you will find countries with different attitudes and ways of 'running'. They are 'about' something else. If they do pay large amounts of taxes, the public does benefit and the public support this system willingly. Canada is not like this. We are a small group of 8 million who contribute, some of us rich, most of us struggling being exploited to support a pyramid scheme to support better lifestyles higher up the pyramid. That's *all* Canada is about. That's what goes on in this country and nothing else of any value. What is Canada 'about'? A big pyramid scheme. whowhere Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 The Real Question is Canada a Communist Country? What you are describing illustrates a group of people who deliberately Lie and deceive everyone so they can prosper at the clueless's expense. Yep, the sad the truth of the Corrupt and Proud Canada Point #1 The people need to the know the percentage of people drawing money from Government Revenue Streams versus those Generating Revenue Streams for which the Government's are able to draw from. Point #2 The people need to establish whether the Conservatives/Liberals are representing the voters or their civil servant buddies. This is easy to spot because rather than balance the books they will run huge deficits to keep their buddies employed. Point #3 Canada's bureacrats and Politicians don't know their azz from a hole in the ground. They couldn't manage their way out of wet paper bag. The fact is, Canada is being schooled by US economics. You figure being a neighbor to the US, Canada's so called academia, bureacrats, and political parties would have developed a sense of how the US operates. Canada is about to go down in History as the world's stupidist Country. As they say, stupid is what stupid does! Do not vote conservative, Do not Vote Liberal, Do not Vote NDP, Find who is independent and vote that guy. To not do so, reflects on you people. Canada has been driven to cultural and economic peril by the Conservatives and Liberals alike. For effs sake people wake up, vote and save Canada! Quote Job 40 (King James Version) 11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. 12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. 13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.

bill_barilko Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 And I'm sure my tax dollars had something to do with your life adventure. No I have never used public money for any of my travels-that is an insult a lie and you are a liar. Face it your idiotic rant is the product of base ignorance-stewed in trailer parks, braised in beer parlours and steeped in stupidity. You have No Clue as to how people in other places live/how their countries work and next to no idea of how this country works. The Bad News is that you will never travel anywhere and enlighten yourself, of course for people who live in other countries that's also the Good News-what do they want with someone like you breathing up their air? Topaz Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 What you say may be true but lets looks at the other side of the civil workers like parliament. Harper has expanded his government so more money is going for wages, looks at the benefits each minister gets, how much is waste? I find this government doesn't earn its wages because they have had more days off than other other Federal gov't I can remember! how much is Canada in debt and Harper keeps spending and blames it on the global recession, yeah, right! What you were doing there and why you were there. Don't tell me that you were working there becuase people in the private sector are not flaming libs like you all wild and pro nanny state. dpwozney Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 For effs sake people wake up, vote and save Canada! Voting in their elections could be construed as giving voluntary implied consent and support to the idea that Elizabeth the Second is Canada's Queen. Elizabeth the Second is not Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, contrary to the requirement in this Fifth Schedule, which states: “Oath of Allegiance I A.B. do swear, That I will be faithful and bear true Allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Note. The Name of the King or Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland for the Time being is to be substituted from Time to Time, with proper Terms of Reference thereto.”. The provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick expressed their desire to be federally united into one Dominion under the Crown of the “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland”, not the Crown of the “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”, according to the British North America Act, 1867. "To reverse that dismal trend," the panel says, "is the core economic challenge facing Canada." I think this sums up Canada, a Country of Losers.
