Oleg Bach
We? Seems to me that the problem is theirs and 'we' can only try to help.As for the leaders, like leaders everywhere, they pay attention to what keeps them iin power, not what makes sense or, will benefit their countries in the long term. If they cannot come to grips with that then it matters not who we send. That is a very important point. This is a problem based in the worst parts of base human nature - It's the perception of power - if these leaders were raised by mothers and fathers that understood that the empowerment of others is true self empowerment - then all would be well - problem being some of these leaders were trained by fathers and mothers that taught them that power was the stealing of power and the dis-empowerment of others in order to stay in a postion of domination - this is NOT public service -this is an illness - How do you heal such a misconception of power?
