For the last time. It's going to be a private members bill. No one has any control over who tables a private members bill. It won't be for a little while yet anyways so relax. You can kill your babies at will still. It has support by members from all parties. It's going to pass theres no question about that. We just need to wait unmtil we get more support in the Senate as it is there are too many Liberals in there yet. Maybe another year or two.

Please always be very clear that it is the Conservative party who will help limit abortion. Tell everyone you meet to make sure to vote Conservative if they want to stop abortion. thanks!

Not stop abortion, reform it. Wide open abortion from conception to 9 months is a mistake and needs some limits to help protect babies from being murdered.

Jdobbin, yes I do think that all the appointments are ProLife. Just a hunch. The government was never going to table a bill on abortion it's going to be a private members bill. P-R-I-V-A-T-E. How many times do I gotta tell you that?

There are a couple Libs and maybe an NDP or two, that'll make the Cons all happy and enable them to say 'it has support from all parties'. But private members bills have a tendency to die in comittee if the PMO so wishes....we'll see if Harper is true to his commitment for once about "this" government. Our next government, if its a Conservative majority I'm sure will place restrictions on access....but only with a majority mandate, and that's a big if.
