We imagine that the economic turmoil is the beginging of the collapse of Capitialism. The reverse is actually taking place in America and Canada. Corporate welfare bonus packages - GONE - Unionization of the big three car manufacturers - going going GONE. The psudeo generation of false wealth though Information Technology Industry (the generates nothing of substance that can be called wealth - Gone....White collar upper middle management in the corporate sector (white collar unionism) - fading fast....free money via the credit card system - going going soon to be gone - Free money - will no longer be free. Those with ability and energy and the willingness to work will prosper... My Amerianized Canadian friend who was GIVEN hundreds of thousands of dollars for being the best insurance producer - now drives a school bus. I used to ask Al - "What do you really do within your corporation?" - He could never answer me - apparently nothing.

Within American National Socialism is a high archy of people who are inept and who have risen to the top - Bush and Cheney are prime examples. Bush recently spoke out of both sides of his mouth - to para-phrase "It's not more government envolvement in buisness that will be helpful but LESS government envolvement....YET - they send billions to their socialist corporate friends in the form of welfare...I would say that is total government envolvement. Social problems including violence amoungst our youth in America and Canada is due to those that have authority who though National Socialism have risen to the top of the heap - They are also totally inept and there is proof of that revealed everyday - It's time that the best who have been driven to the bottom of the heap have a kick at the can - Socialism always fails after running it's natural course - and it has. NOW - it looks like the door is finally opening up to real good old fashioned Capitalism - this is the begining of a new era....go for it!

*sigh*

There is no heirarchy of American National Socialists. If there were, do you really want to say that Bush and Cheney are a part of it? They're definitely NOT Socialist. You even quoted him saying that LESS government involvement is better. I assume you're refering to the Bailout Plan? That mainly went to banks. Here's a list of who got what http://moneynews.newsmax.com/streettalk/ba.../12/150364.html

That may be government involvement, but it isn't total  What restrictions did they put on businesses? What could possibly make you think they're Socialist?

If you're so certain Socialism is dying in America, why have you been shouting about Obama being Socialist, and now that he's going to be president, America is going to hell? Now you've reversed your position?

God I hope you're right. The UAW has absolutely destroyed the auto industry, which has basically been turned into health care and retirement providers who happen to build cars on the side. Their operating costs are much higher than Toyota, Honda, etc thanks to demands which have led to General Motors being the largest buyer of Viagra in America. Looks like their chickens are coming home to roost.
