http://www.scandalpedia.ca/Scandals.html

Ok, I like to google like everyone else. And then this site appeared. I like real sites, and this one smelled of a party hack site.

Wikipedia and sites like it I enjoy as there is multiple input, and corrections on the fly. But I find that this site appears a tad to bias and misleading.

In other words, I like a good scandal, but I don't like little things being trumpeted as a scandal, when they aren't.

Brian Mulroney, makes a good scandal:) Schrieber makes a good scandal.

Bernier is a goofball and incompetent. I don't know if he qualifies for a scandal yet.

Some Conservative practices are despicable, but that doesn't mean there is a scandal behind them.

I believe a scandal is something that the general public has accepted as fact, (whether true or not it becomes a scandal), not issues that could become a scandal but haven't made it to primetime.

A scandal is a widely publicized incident that involves allegations of wrongdoing, disgrace, or moral outrage. A scandal may be based on reality, the product of false allegations, or a mixture of both.

So, while many of the "scandals" are weak, this site appears to be laying it on thick. It would be a site that preceeds a Scandal in most circumstances.

This is my perception of a bigtime scandal of the past.

INDEPTH: SPONSORSHIP SCANDAL

Who's who: Players

CBC News Online | Updated April 18, 2008

Now, until some of these other CPC issues break from the political sphere and into the mainstream public, (and remember the LPC sponsorship scandals were being pushed, back when both Preston Manning and Joe Clark were still around), perceived scandals can disappear.

IF this is a Liberal Hacksite, it should be identified as a Liberal Site that highlights Conservative misgivings and potential scandals.

And then, at the bottum of the site, as I double check this post I see.......

Curses, foiled again  No way I fell off the turnup truck

It's just sad that the LPC is grasping at straws. They just don't get it. Canadians don't want a government in power that steals $1.5 Billion from its voters. They don't seem to understand that if it wasn't for Toronto they would have been wiped out almost completely. Next election the Tories will take some 416 seats, it will be a glorious victory for democracy and integrity. Canada will once again say no to corruption and arrogance and yes to strong leadership and vision.

This was set up during the election. It was well covered in stories on the party webpages that were used during the election.

Since this was an election website, I think you are bursting with the enthusiasm reserved for the true believers.

If this was an election website, why is it still there? (the World Wide Web - where nothing truly disappears). Is this something like the election signs that pop up out of nowhere when you least expect them - "Vote Sharp - Mitchell Sharp!".

No doubt. I never seemed to come across it until today. May a puffin strike me :)

It is quite possible that the Liberal party is too poor to pay a person to take down certain aspects of their website.

The Tories probably still have a few election puffins to the job.

If Ignatief wins the leadership, we'll see even more puffins. Unrepentantly this time.

If Ignatieff wins, we'll see a Liberal leader who will push back when it comes to Harper bullying.

Wow... Quite a find!!! Can't get much past you eh...

Amazing collection of gaffes and scandals, yet no mention of their validity, just dredging up the ole' standby. Good work, Partisan hack.
