JerrySeinfeld Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Let's leave aside opinions on GW Bush for a moment. I for one think he's great. The ignorant masses disagree. SO what. Let's just talk about strategy for a minute. Political Strategy. In two months, George W Bush will vanish from the playbook as a lightening rod of liberal left wing politics forever. I noticed even the Liberals in CANADA tried to tar Harper with the "Bush paint" so retitively used by the world's left wing appeasing environazis to advance their own sinister agendas. But with Bush gone, what are they going to do now? What in heaven's name will comprise the body of 90% of their future election advertising? Just wondering. Quote

Lets leave opinions out.......except for yours . Right? Those ignorant masses are a worldwide phenomena. In two months, George W Bush will vanish from the playbook as a lightening rod of liberal left wing politics forever. But with Bush gone, what are they going to do now? What in heaven's name will comprise the body of 90% of their future election advertising? Just wondering. Well, lets see. Since 90% of election advertising isn't comprised of Bush how can anyone answer that question? Just wondering......I see. Try an olympic pool. Quote

Mr.Canada Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Mr. Harper has no hidden agenda and never did. There are no soldiers on our streets patrolling. He isn't scary. Hr didn't cut immigration. He didn't cut social programs. He didn't decrease spending. These have been used by Martin and DIon and none have come to pass. Canadians know that. They are smart enough not to swallow things whole as so many wish they would. I hope at least they say something new. jdobbin Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Let's leave aside opinions on GW Bush for a moment. I for one think he's great. The ignorant masses disagree. SO what. There was once massive support for George Bush in the U.S. That support has dissolved over the length of a war that most Americans thought would be over long ago. That support dissolved as the economy headed downward in part based on deregulation that Bush supported. So...are those Americans ignorant for not being appreciative? As for Canadians, most of the election had nothing to do with George Bush. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) ....As for Canadians, most of the election had nothing to do with George Bush. But the LPC, NDP, Bloc, and Greens tolds us PM Harper = Bush...didn't they? ...and Harper won! Edited October 28, 2008 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
